Question for hair stylists about matrix "sleek look"?

so i need a new shampoo, and i was using matrix "curl life," but it dried out my hair a little. my hairstylist recommended matrix "sleek look" to restore moisture, however, i'm not sure if she was trying to sell the product in her store or if it would actually be good for my hair. i have naturally wavy/frizzy hair...i like to wear it that way...it separates by itself usually, and it looks kind of like marykate olsen or carrie bradshaw's hair, and i'm worried that sleek look would make it straighter. I LIKE MY WAVES! help please? would sleek look take away the waves or would it just take away the frizz and help it? i plan to use the finishing products from curl life line afterwards...so yeah...any info on sleek look would help a bunch!
