Suicide ripple?

i think most people from the uk will know about the birdgend suicides where there was a spate of about 7 (i think) suicides in the space of a few month. well were i am living now in greater manchester there has been 3or4 suicides in the past 3 month could it be turning bridgend be about to repeat its self? what do you think does one suicide usually cause a ripple of others?
