Why do people seem to have such a hard time being direct, honest, and upfront?!!!?

I feel like I live in a world of morons insistent upon avoiding conflict at the ultimate cost of truth. I'll ask a SIMPLE question- they dance around the answer. Waiting for tangible proof becomes inescapable as people REFUSE to just give proper notification with a "this is to be expected" or "this is on its way" etc. I can handle knowing that a storm of dog poo is gonna land in my favorite bowl of pasta when I'm just about to take a bite-No prob. But what drives me BATTY is waiting unduly just because people are so damned squeamish about telling me the truth. My brother said I intimidate people. WHY? Because I am not full of it?! If anything my brutal honesty should be refreshing. AAAHHH! I feel like a 142 in 101 world.
