Who was the comedien,who did a stand up routine on t.v. ,in the 60's just using a box of hats as a prop:

when I was very young I saw an act ,possibly on Ed Sullivan,the comic appeared on stage with just a box of hats he told the story of a night in a london pub,while switching hats as he did,he umed each hat wearers voiceand personality it was very funny but I've never seen it since, it might have been. Benny Hill Does anyone else remember this?
