Should John & Janette Howard move out of Blair House and let President Elect Obama & Family move in?

I think it would have been good of him to offer. But how do we know he didn't? As an experienced diplomat, he wouldn't make the offer publicly because that might make his good friend GWB look bad or put him in an awkward position. Since GWB had already publicly turned down Obama's request.
