Just curious. Maybe, people from the film industry can help. What do they use as props for drug use in films?

I just saw Scarface again was was kinda wondering what they sniffing there. Were they using the real thing and if not what do you think they were substituting for. Cause I think powdered sugar would hurt. This is a serious question.
