I have 1 yoa great dane male and he barks constantly when we leave.?

We just moved a month ago, he was use to my mother being with him during the day, and now hes alone 8 hours a day. We moved into a duplex and the barking upsets the neighbor and me and my husband both work 8 hr shifts. I tried the suggestion but he barks as soon as I leave the room. When we return from anywhere we can barely get into the house he jumps and almosts takes me down and he barks and jumps around and his tail knocks things over and hits stuff this goes on for 15 minutes or so.
